According to the Indonesian Statistical Report 2023 from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), throughout 2022, Indonesia exported 434.19 thousand tons of coffee, marking a 12.92% increase from the previous year (year-on-year/yoy). The total value of these exports reached USD 1.13 billion.
There are several important stages when conducting export procedures to foreign countries. They need to be prepared in detail to ensure the security and quality of the exported products.
Here are the three stages of exporting coffee.
Pre-shipment Sample Delivery (PSS Delivery) refers to the process of sending samples of goods to a buyer or importer before the actual shipment of the full order takes place. PSS Delivery is carried out to allow the buyer to inspect and verify the quality, design, and specifications of the products before giving final approval for the shipment. SKA will handle the PSS Delivery to the buyer a few weeks before the export.
