Bandar Lampung, August 3, 2025 — PT Sumber Kurnia Alam (SKA) Lampung has achieved 4C (Common Code for the Coffee Community) certification. The company started preparation in early 2024 and completed the final audit with SDS in June 2025. The certificate was issued on August 3, 2025. This marks an important step for SKA in building a sustainable coffee supply chain.
The process took more than a year. In January 2024, SKA formed field teams, prepared documents, and trained farmers and suppliers. The teams collected farmer data, mapped farm geolocations, and held training on the 4C Code of Conduct and sustainability policies. Internal audits took place in March and April 2025, followed by an external audit in June 2025. SKA passed all requirements and officially received the 4C certificate.
This certification shows SKA’s commitment to producing coffee responsibly. The company ensures its coffee brings economic value while also caring for people, the environment, and long-term sustainability. With 4C, SKA stands alongside global coffee companies that follow international sustainability standards.
SKA also uses this achievement to strengthen farmer capacity. The company continues to run training programs, provide technical support, and improve production quality. These efforts help increase farmer income while protecting the environment.
The company will keep improving its systems and supporting its farmer network. SKA aims to make sustainable practices a core part of its culture. With the 4C certification, SKA is ready to meet global market demands for high-quality, transparent, and sustainable coffee.
